BMF Blue Riband offers an uncomplicated, progressive route to advanced motorcycle skills
Self-critical, concentrated & progressive advanced riding course
Each of our SkilledBiker™ Instructors is also an advanced motorcycle examiner with at least one of the UK’s main advanced motorcycle training bodies – IAM RoadSmart, RoSPA or British Motorcycle Federation (BMF).
In the case of BMF, SkilledBiker trains and examines in-house for the Blue-Riband Rider Award, which offers an uncomplicated, concentrated and progressive introduction to advanced tuition.
ABOUT BMF BLUE RIBAND
The aim of the BMF Blue Riband course is to help motorcyclists to improve their advanced riding skills and therefore increase the enjoyment they get out of motorcycling. BMF Blue Riband encourages riders to be self critical and able to recognise their own strengths and weaknesses. The concentrated version of BMF Blue Riband includes a half-day of theory, followed by a full-day of assessment of 90-miles plus, including regular road-side debriefs. Riders who reach the required standard will be given the opportunity to complete their Blue Riband assessment. The assessment will be conducted by another instructor and will take about an hour.
